Very nice school!!! We moved this past year so my son had to go to another elementary school. We miss it a lot and the administration!!

My child goes to BB Harris and within 72 hours I am looking to change that. I have NEVER been so disrespected in a school in my life. I was approached by MS.KOON regarding a personal matter that should have been discussed in private however this administrator chose to discuss this in front of my child and about 3 or 4 other parents who were bringing their child to school in the HALLWAY. I wasn't even given the decency of a private setting. KOON was acting very much like a COON and her behavior was not of someone I expected to be working in an environment with children where they are teaching the golden rule of courtesy, please, thanks you and the importance of apologies. I addressed KOON's actions regarding the confrontation in the hallway and she negated the fact that she was wrong...she also turned my child around to tell her something that she should have been speaking with a parent about. I spoke with the assistant principle Ms. Murphy about my concerns whom was very pleasant and she stated that my concern would be addressed. I then called later in the day to speak with the PRINCIPAL to see what was done as well as to find out my options regarding the personal matter KOON discussed in the open of the hallway. The PRINCIPAL was very rude and when I stated that I would like to have an apology for KOONS actions earlier in the day I was told no apology would be given because she supports her staff...whats wrong is wrong! I PAY YOUR SALARY every time I pay taxes and I have the option of choosing whatever school I prefer for my child and this is the treatment that I was given. VERY unprofessional and this event was ENOUGH to leave a bad taste in my mouth ! Good thing I taped the conversation and I will be sending it to the board of education to rectify this issue !
