School Reviews
5 10/24/2009
We fully recommend Wai'alae! Wai'alae passes all No Child Left Behind Standards but also has been able to retain all of the fun supplemental classes such as music, art, PE, and Hawaiian that other schools have had to cut out. The campus is beautiful and very well-kept, and this is carried out in the classrooms through lessons about gardening, the environment, and nutrition. Herbs and veggies grown in the schools' garden are used by the chef in the cafeteria! And the food is yummy including an all-you-can-eat fruit and salad bar! Wai'alae even has an after-school garden club!
