Four individuals will be inducted Friday into the Eureka College Athletics Hall of Fame as part of weekend homecoming activities. Sarah Gohl Isabel, Mindy Whitehouse, Jacquie (Bruell) Taylor and Craig Negangard will be enshrined at a 6:30 p.m. ceremony in Becker Auditorium at the Cerf Center.

Members of the Twin City Dawgs took part in the Chenoa Fourth of July parade last Saturday as an introduction to the community they will be calling home. The Dawgs open their home season at George B. Ferree Field Saturday against Great Lakes at 7 p.m.

WMBD/WYZZ-TV - PEKIN, Ill. -- Denied an NFL contract, Luke Drone was hoping to play in the Arena Football League this year. When that league shut down for the year, the former Illinois State University quarteback wound up in Peoria in the AF2. But he doesn't mind.
