A baker's dozen amounts to 13, but in OurNeighbor Patti Brand's case, her lucky number this Thanksgiving is 14. This is her 14th Thanksgiving working for Sunset Foods. Brand, a Northbrook resident since 1999, started at the Northbrook store one week before the hectic Thanksgiving holiday. "The whole town feels like one big neighborhood," said Brand.

Authorities have identified the man who died Sunday after being struck by an Amtrak train near Dundee Road as a 20-year-old Northbrook resident.
