The first two weekends in December herald the holiday season in Paris, and with them comes Holiday in Paris. Holiday in Paris was created four years ago as a way to gather all the festivities and events around the area under one umbrella.

Assistant Principal Althea Dixon, who initiated the idea to bring the recent Challenge Day program to Paris High School, has challenged the Diversity Task Force of Paris to bring the program back to Paris a second time and to solicit participation from other Lamar County high schools.

State police and the 15th Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney's office are investigating allegations that a Logan County woman misappropriated $14,000 in Paris High School activity funds and $45,000 in money raised to support high school dance teams, the Legislature’s audit panel heard last week.

SHERMAN — The Paris High School girl’s swim team defeated the Sherman High School girl’s swim team by an overall score of 69-61 on Tuesday in a meet held at Austin College. On the boy’s side, Sherman came away with a win over Paris.
