Kim Miller wasn't a quitter. She refused to give up, even in the face of death. Miller, the wife of a Goodyear police sergeant and mother of three, died Aug. 27 after a 10-month battle with cancer. The lifelong athlete was 29. Send condolences

Not having to work was right up John Toppi's alley. After retiring May 29 from 22 years as Apollo High School's bus driver, he only looks back at the fun times.
