The school board here formally announced Tuesday night that Annette Patchett will replace Dr. Mike Whitman as principal of White Oak Elementary School. She will assume her duties Jan. 1, 2010, when Whitman moves on to the new River Birch Elementary School.
Duke assists future YMCA (Hendricks County Flyer)

In order to finish construction on the future Hendricks Regional Health YMCA, funding has become a necessity.To assist this issue, Duke Energy donated a check for $500,000 to help create an Environmental Education Center at the new facility. The check was given at a presentation at White Oak Elementary School Wednesday.
Duke Realty sets offering price (The Times of Northwest Indiana)

Indianapolis-based Duke Realty Corp. (NYSE:DRE) says it has priced its offering of 65.4 million shares of common stock at $7.65 per share. The company expects to raise approximately $480 million. That could be more if underwriters use their option to purchase up to an additional 9,810,000 shares. Duke will use some of the proceeds to repay outstanding borrowings under its unsecured line of credit.
