  • Highland High School is a school located in the town of Highland, Indiana, located in the Chicagoland area. It is located at 9135 Erie Street. It is the only Highschool that serves the town of Highland. It is also connected to Highland Middle School. There are three lunch periods: A Lunch, B Lunch, and C Lunch. Students at Highland High School are known as Trojans.
  • History: Highland High School was established in 1960. During the time the school was established, there were over 700 students graduating in each class. That has changed, however, and the number of students per class has greatly decreased. Only about 250 students graduated in the class of 2006. That is expected to change, as the classes of 2010 and 2011 are gaining students from places such as Gary and East Chicago, where the schools aren't as safe.
  • Athletics: Highland High School has many sports teams, including the following:
  • Girls/Boys Basketball, Boys Football, Cheerleading, Cross Country, Dance, Soccer, Softball, Swimming, Tennis, Track, Volleyball.
