When Kate Layman passed away at 18 months old because of heart and pulmonary issues, her parents, Andrew and Krista Layman from Fort Wayne, found a way to keep their daughter’s memory alive while helping other children in the hospital, including Parkview Huntington Hospital.

There were few people whose opinion sided with “H.S.,” “J.S.” and the American Civil Liberties Union in the lawsuit against the “By the Book” Bible Trailer program. None spoke up at the Huntington County Community School Board meeting Monday evening.
