The good news for the Florence boys soccer team is that they’re headed to the semifinals of the 1A/2A/3A state tournament for the second consecutive year. The bad news is that they’re also returning to a venue — Paradise Valley High School in north Phoenix — that has been less than friendly to the Gophers in soccer and football the last two years. -

Besides causing fatalities, driving while texting in Arizona can lead to lengthy prison sentences. About 40 students and parents learned about the dangers and consequences of driving while distracted during the Road Sensibility program Wednesday night at Paradise Valley High School. -
