  • Located in North West Newton, Kansas, Newton High School has a population of 998 students. Newton High School is the only secondary school for USD 373, Newton's Unified School District. The school's 90 acre campus and Cedar tree surrounded parking lot make it a distinctive landmark in NW Newton, Kansas.
  • Historically, Newton High School has been housed in three distinct buildings, all of which are still in use. The old Lincoln School was the original building, Santa Fe Middle School was the second building and the present building was completed in early 1970's.
  • Students from grades 9-12 participate in Football, Volleyball, Cross Country, Tennis, Girls and Boys Basketball, Wrestling, Gymnastics, Bowling, Swimming, Girls and Boys Soccer, Baseball, Softball, Golf and Track and Field. Activities available include Cheerleading, Railiners Dance Team, Azteca Dancers, Debate, Forensics, FFA, Drama, Music (Vocal, Band, Jazz Band, Pep Band, Orchestra), Odyssey of the Mind Science Olympiad and Model U.N.
