Peggy Ann Keith Coyne, 76, Florence, died Nov. 15, 2009, at her home. She was a homemaker, taught music St. Benedict's School and art at Baker Hunt in Covington.
Key club salutes armed services (Newport Independent)

The Newport High School Key Club honored area U.S. Veterans with a luncheon in the high school library Wednesday, Nov. 11, Veteran's Day. Key Club President Hannah Robison welcomed the group of 21 veterans and thanked them for their service. Alex Western led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by an invocation by Joe Paul Glidewell.

The Lincoln County Shrine Club is presenting Donkey Basketball at 2 p.m. Saturday at Newport High School. Doors open at 1 p.m. Admission is $6. For children less than 3 years of age, admission is free.
