PINEVILLE — The Pineville School Board meeting began Monday with a report on the High School’s youth service projects. Teacher and Youth Service Advisor Matt Shafer reported success with two charity endeavors.

Leigh Michelle Urban and John Tyler Martin, both of Poland, were married on Saturday, September 19, 2009. The ceremony took place on the front lawn of the Melady House in Alexandria with Sam Piazza officiating. Music was provided by Amy Freeman, Soloist. Immediately following the ceremony, the celebration moved inside the Melady House for a reception honoring the couple.
