  • Woodlawn High School is a high school in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Its new building was built in 2002. The older building was demolished in 2004. It is in the East Baton Rouge Parish School District. The current principal is Jimmy Newman. The School mascot is the (purple) Panther. The school colors are black, white, and purple. There will be a Woodlawn Middle School where the old high school stood. The current Head Football Coach and Athletic Director is Don Jones. Notable Tiger Alumni include class of 1985 Carlos Vergara. A television news anchor and reporter in Miami, FL.
