At each year’s Blue Ridge Summit Ice Cream Social the Harvey Bridgers Award is given to a fifth- or sixth-grade student who makes good use of the Blue Ridge Summit Free Library. This year’s recipient not only uses the library well, he has helped make it a better place for others.
