    Since it was founded in 1995, the Boston Renaissance Charter School has educated students in a 16-story high-rise on Stuart Street. That means more than 1,200 students in kindergarten through the sixth grade spend a portion of their day waiting for elevators or shuffling up and down stairs to get between classrooms and enrichment programs in dance, music and other disciplines.
