- Dover-Sherborn High School, or D-S, is a regional public high school in the town of Dover, Massachusetts, United States. It serves students from the towns of Dover and Sherborn, and is the senior school of the Dover-Sherborn Public School District, housing grades 9 through 12.
- History

Until the 1960s Dover and Sherborn both sent their high school students to neighboring town's high schools (Needham for Dover, Framingham for Sherborn). By the 1950s, the population boom was making it difficult for those schools to accept outside students, and the two towns opted to create a regional school district. The first building was built on Farm Street in 1962. As the population continued to increase, the current high school was built on the same campus and completed in 1968. In 2004, a $43 million renovation on the campus was completed, which included a renovation of the High School building, the razing of the Middle School (the original high school building) and the new construction of the Middle School. The other schools in the district are Dover Sherborn Middle School (DSMS), Pine Hill School and Chickering School.

Academically, D-S is one of the top performing Massachusetts public schools annually. US News recognized this by including DSHS amongst the top 100 Public high schools in America . For the 2006-2007 school year, D-S 10th grade students ranked 4th in English and 4th in Math amongst their peers on the Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System (MCAS) exam. Ninety-six percent of the Class of 2006 took the SAT I and 56% scored over 600 in the verbal section, 65% scored over 600 in the math section and 58% scored over 600 in the writing section. Graduates regularly attend top colleges and universities. 97% of those that graduated in 2006 attended college.

The school offers and competes in a number of sports, including American football, cross country, golf, field hockey, basketball, alpine and Nordic skiing, swimming, baseball, lacrosse, track and field, and sailing. Dover-Sherborn has won many Tri-Valley League and Mass Bay East League titles dating back to the early 1970s, and managed to win four state championships over the course of its history: 1980 Men's Basketball, 1982 Men's Skiing, 1992 Boy's Soccer, and 1994 Girl's Tennis. From 2003-2007 the boy's and girls lacrosse teams have met with great success in the Tri-Valley League, consistently placing second only to Medfield. The graduating class of 2007 had 5 seniors continuing on into playing for Division 3 teams such as Connecticut College, St.Lawerence, Trinity College, Plymouth State, and Drew University. Throughout the four years that this class was enrolled in Dover Sherborn High School the Varsity team managed to make it to the semi finals or the finals all four years.
- Traditionally, D-S has seen its most prominent athletic success in Men's Basketball and recently in Men's Lacrosse. Several Basketball TVL Championships have been won over the last thirty years under the leadership of coach Chris DuBose, the most recent coming in 2004-05. In 2002, the Women's Basketball team made it to the State Championships, playing in the Fleet Center (now the TD Bank North Garden). Although they lost, the team was responsible for the resurgence of the Dover-Sherborn women's basketball program.
- The school is also part of The Education Co-operative (TEC), which allows D-S students to take part in internships with local companies and also enroll in TEC Classes.
- Dover-Sherborn has also seen some success in its academic extracurriculars. The Dover-Sherborn Physics Olympics Team, coached by Physics teacher Charlie Chicklis, has on occasion taken first place at the Eastern Massachusetts Physics Olympics against schools such as Boston Latin, Milton Academy, Thayer Academy, and Medfield High School. The Chess Team, also lead by Charlie Chicklis, became league champions in 2007. Guided by Biology teacher Greg Tucker, a D-S student project officially represented MA State at the prestigious International Science and Engineering Fair hosted by Intel in 2006. In 2007, D-S became home to a Siemens Competition Semifinalist.Dover-Sherborn's Math Team also consistently puts on strong performances, with the 2006-2007 Math Team making New Englands for the first time in several years. It is coached by Jim Baroody, who helped the team maintain its success after the retirement of veteran coach and math teacher Tom Powers (affectionately known as TP) in 2005.
- The Dover-Sherborn Drama Department puts on two productions a year, an autumn play and spring musical. Notable productions include: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Wiz, Seussical, Pippin, Godspell, The Odd Couple, Anything Goes, and Les Misérables.
