Lunenburg High School is the high school of the town of Lunenburg, Massachusetts in north-central Worcester County. The school encompasses grades 9-12, and educate students from Lunenburg, Shirley, and Fitchburg.
Administration
Since the 2000-01 school year the school's administration has consisted of:
Michael Barney, principal
Richard Martin, vice principal

Athletics
The Lunenburg High School Athletic Department, since 2005, has been under the leadership of Athletic Director Peter McCauliff, who is also the Cross Country and boys Indoor and Spring Track and Field coach. Lunenburg is a member of the Mid-Wach C division of athletics.
The Lunenburg High mascot is the Blue Knight and school colors are Royal Blue and White.
Lunenburg High School has many sports teams including football, boys' and girls' soccer, cross country, and field hockey in the fall season; boys' and girls' basketball, boys' and girls' indoor track, co-ed hockey, and a ski team in the winter season; and baseball, softball, co-ed tennis, and girls' and boys' track and field in the spring season. Last year coach Steve K, former A.D. and girls track coach, was named coach of the year. It hosts on average around 650 students in attendance.
Lunenburg High School recently started a mock quidditch team for both female and male students. It is has been the most popular sporting event at the school for the year 2009, hosting several intermural games throughout the year. The school is also campaigning to get other nearby schools to set up their own teams, with the goal of setting up a league.
Lunenburg High School also has a Marching band that is very good and recently placed second in a USSBA marching competition , in the group. Last year(2008) the band consists of about 50 members and growing.
