On a cold, rainy November afternoon, many Needham and Wellesley residents braved the weather elements to witness the annual Needham High-Wellesley High Powderpuff game which the Needham Powderpuff team won 20 to 8.

Needham High School sophomore Aly Raisman represented America in the 2009 Junior Pan American Gymnastic Games in Brazil and took home not one, but two, gold medals as well as one bronze.

In order for any football team to be successful, a quarterback must have a go-to receiver that can be counted on at any point of the game. For Needham High’s football team, senior wide receiver Kerry Hecker is the target that always seems to be at the right place at the right time.
