Out of a painful loss for the Norwell High School football team was a poignant moment, one that the Clippers will try to carry over to Thanksgiving. Friday’s 34-14 defeat to Cohasset at home did not sting because it was the team’s fourth of the season, but because senior captain A.J. DeBenedictis suffered what turned out to be a season-ending injury.

The Norwell High School girls cross country team had quite a day Saturday in the Division 4 Eastern Mass., Cross Country Championships. The girls finished fifth as a team and now move on to the All-State Meet.

The Norwell High School football team lost on two fronts Friday night. Not only did they lose, 34-14, to Cohasset, the Clippers lost leading scorer A.J. DeBenedictis to an injury.
H1N1 clinic at Norwell Saturday (Bluffton News-Banner)

An H1N1 flu clinic is scheduled for Saturday at Norwell High School from 8 a.m., to noon. Enter at Door 17. The vaccine is free. H1N1 mist and injectable are both available and will be administered to the following groups on a first come first serve basis.
