PETOSKEY - Style points mean little now. Either way you slice it, getting the job done is what counts. The Cadillac volleyball team didn’t look too pretty but took care of business and beat Petoskey 25-15, 25-17, 15-25, 25-16 in a Class B regional semifinal Tuesday night.

The Charlevoix Rayders (18-2 overall, 8-2 league) were too much for the visiting Grayling Vikings (11-7 overall, 7-3 league) during last Monday's District 48-3 soccer tournament game, advancing to the semifinals with a 5-0 win vs. GHS. The loss ended Grayling's 2009 season.
