The Homer Middle School Husky boys soccer team repeated as borough champs Saturday at Nikiski. It was a great team effort as the seventh grade Huskies held Kenai scoreless in the second half of the first game to give the starters a well deserved rest for the tense final game.

Homer Middle School's Huskies cross country team streaked to an impressive finish at a meet in Kenai Sept. 18. Coach Annie Peel said their competition included teams from Kenai, Soldotna, Cook Inlet Academy, Aurora Borealis and Seward.
