Sterling Heights police released surveillance photos Thursday to help identify a man who robbed a Fifth Third Bank on Saturday. According to police, the man entered the bank at 11555 Metro Parkway, approached a teller and pulled out a note that said, "Give me all of your money or I'll kill you."

Eisenhower High School is a high school located in Shelby Charter Township, Michigan. The school's colors are blue and silver and the mascot is the Eagle. Students and teachers alike refer to the school as "Ike", which comes from President Dwight D. Eisenhower's nickname. Richard Nixon visited the school during his service as President. The original design of the school had few windows and no walls in the individual wings. This concept of an open area classroom failed, and the building was segmented into its current classroom structure. Recent modifications completed between 2004 and 2006 include a new skylight, conference area, and a new performing arts center.Eisenhower High School opened in 1972.

Competitions
Eisenhower's Quiz Bowl team has a history of success, winning numerous Macomb Area Conference Championships (most recently in 2003) as well as four state championships (the 1989, 1992, and 2000 Michigan State Championship Quiz Bowl and the 2000 Michigan NAQT State Championship Tournament) and two national championships (the 1990 and 2000 American Scholastics Competition Network Tournament of Champions).
Eisenhower's Marching Band has received a Division 1 rating at MSBOA Festival (District 16)since the early 90's.Eisenhower's Band received a Division 1 at festival recently.

Key Club
IKE Key Club was formed in 1973.
In the 2008-2009 school year, Eisenhower High School's Key Club, for the first time in its history, was awarded the honored title of "Diamond-Level Distinguished" (the highest honor a Key Club may receive). IKE was the only Michigan Key Club to receive the title that year.
