The Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan School District has named Trevor Johnson as the new principal of Dakota Hills Middle School in Eagan. Johnson, an Eagan resident, has spent the past six years as a middle school principal in the Edina and South St. Paul school districts.

Trevor Johnson has been selected to be principal of Dakota Hills Middle School in Eagan. Johnson worked in the Hopkins and Edina school districts and most recently was principal of the International Baccalaureate program for grades 7-10 in South St. Paul. Canine and feline ambassadors from the Minnesota Valley Humane Society in Burnsville greeted people July 13 outside Burnsville City Hall. The animals and more than 50 of their human companions turned out for a public hearing for the Humane Society during the Planning Commission meeting last night.
