  • Eastview is a comprehensive and college preparatory public high school located in Apple Valley, Minnesota. Established in 1997, Eastview is the newest of six high schools serving Independent School District 196. Newsweek ranked the school in their "List of the Top High Schools in America" for the sixth consecutive time (2000, 2002, 2004, and 2006, 2007, 2008). Eastview has also been recognized by US News & World Report as one of America's Best High Schools. The school is a member of the Lake Conference.

  • 2008-2009
  • Newsweek ranked the school in their "List of the Top High Schools in America for the sixth consecutive time (2000, 2002, 2004, and 2006, 2007, 2008)." . Eastview has also been recognized by US News & World Report as one of America's Best High Schools.
  • Speech qualifies for the national championship tournament in Alabama in June: members are Pat Moran, Josh Noah, Barbara Marchevsky, Vincent Cheng, Greg Berman, Lindsey White, Kailey Field, Taylor Misiak, Peter Ingles and Karina Devine.
  • The girl's basketball team won the Section 3 AA championship, and ended up finishing 3rd at state.
  • The EVHS Science Olympiad Team won the 2009 State Championship.
  • Lightning Dance team won the State Championship in High Kick and placed 3rd in Jazz Funk at the State Dance Team Tournament.
  • Eastview was one of only three schools to earn the coveted starred rating at the state one act play festival at The College of Saint Catherine for the production of “‘Night, Mother” featuring Taylor Misiak, Sarah Cartwright and Jessie Cates.
  • Nine Eastview High School seniors have been named semifinalists in the 2008-09 National Merit Scholarship Program and another 17 students are recognized as National Merit commended students.
  • Robotics team, Chaos Theory, wins the State Championship in the 2-robot competition at the Minnesota High School Robotics State Tournament

  • Eastview Debate won Varsity Classic State, Varsity Lincoln-Douglas State, JV Classic State, JV Public Forum State, Novice Classic state and retains Governor's Cup.- Fall/Winter
  • The football team finished 2nd in the Lake Conference and won the section 3AAAAA championship. They lost in the state semifinals and finished the season 11-2. - Fall
  • Eastview alum Sarah Prosen (Class of 2007) represented the United States at the Trampoline World Championships in Quebec, Canada. Sarah's U.S. women's double-mini team (including teammates Kaci Barry and Aubree Balkan) captured the bronze medal. - Fall
  • The girls' soccer team lost the Section 3AA championship. They lost in the state quarterfinals to Robinsdale Armstrong and finished the season with a 17-2-3 record. - Fall

  • Eastview High School, District 196's fourth comprehensive high school, opened in September 1997. Eastview High School is located in Apple Valley, adjacent to of playing fields and recreational facilities. The facility is built to house 2,000 students in grades 9-12. Eastview High School's students have achieved high honors in academics, athletics, and the arts. Eastview was identified as a ten star school (highest rating) by the Minnesota Department of Education.
