The Valley Springs High School FFA float rolls through downtown Harrison Thursday afternoon as part of the annual parade that kicks off the Professional Cowboy Rodeo Association rodeo, sponsored by the Harrison Round-up Club. The rodeo started Thursday night and will run through Saturday night, at 8 p.m. each night.

WESTERN GROVE - The school here sits well off of highly traveled U.S. 65, but the sounds of sirens from police cars, ambulances and fire trucks can easily be heard. They should serve as a warning to the students of dangers outside the school building’s walls.
