It was a tale of two seasons for the Fort Lee High School boys soccer team. After a solid 7-4 start earned a ranking in The Record's Top 25, injuries hit the team hard. The Bridgemen finished the regular season losing five in a row with a 1-0 home loss to Elmwood Park.

Fort Lee High School commenced membership this year into the Virtual High School, a non-profit program that offers online, credit-bearing high school courses that students wouldn't have access to in a traditional high school environment.

Fort Lee High School is a four year comprehensive public high school that serves students in ninth through twelfth grade from Fort Lee, in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States, as part of the Fort Lee School District.
As of the 2005-06 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,083 students and 75.1 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 14.4.
History
Fort Lee High School was first established in 1916. It was relocated to its current location in 1928. A new wing was added in 1964. New classrooms were constructed in 1968. The school was completely renovated in the 1980s.
2009 Transcript Scandal
On March 3, 2009, a scandal concerning the transcript records of the students was discovered. The transcripts of students from 2003 to the current senior class were reported by Raymond Bandlow, the superintendent of schools of the Fort Lee School District, to have been tampered with.
Many students, whose transcripts were changed, were not informed of this change. Specifically, students of the class of 2009 have expressed their discontent and anger towards the scandal, due to the fact that the change of the transcript records could jeopardize their chances of being admitted to colleges. As a result, parents, citizens, and others have expressed their disappointment as well. A town hall meeting was held on March 4 in which parents and residents expressed their extreme discontent with the school administration in dealing with the scandal.
The Fort Lee Board of Education has reported that more than one person was involved. Guidance counselors have been accused. Current action that has already been taken was the suspension of Fort Lee High School Principal, Jay Berman, pending the conclusion of the investigation. Frank Romano, the district’s assistant superintendent, has been named as acting principal.
Awards and recognition
The school was ranked 217th out of the top 1000 High Schools in the United States by Newsweek magazine.
The school was the 75th-ranked public high school in New Jersey out of 316 schools statewide, in New Jersey Monthly magazine's September 2008 cover story on the state's Top Public High Schools. The school was ranked 99th in the magazine's September 2006 issue, which included 316 schools across the state.
The Academic Decathlon team has won numerous awards over the years, as has the varsity debate team.
Athletics
The Fort Lee High School Bridgemen compete in the Bergen County Scholastic League (BCSL) American Conference, made up of private and public high schools located in Bergen County and Hudson County.
Notable faculty
Joan Voss (born 1940), was on the school's faculty from 1963 until she retired in 2001. Since 2004, she has represented Fort Lee and the rest of the 38th legislative district in the New Jersey General Assembly.
