HOLMDEL — For the 2009-10 school year, the Holmdel Township School District will benefit from a national stimulus program. The Board of Education announced that the district received an award of $993,983 under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) at its meeting on Aug. 25.

Third-graders at the Village School in Holmdel were treated to a bit of a time warp when they dressed as settlers in celebration of Colonial Day, which included a tour of the school's neighbor, Dr. Cooke's Medical Office.
