--Tickets now are on sale for the Morristown-Beard School's fall play, "Dearly Beloved," on Nov. 4 at 4 p.m. and Nov. 5 through 7 at 8 p.m. at the school, 70 Whippany Road, Morris Township. Tickets are $12; $8 for senior citizens. Call 973-529-3032.

How do you draw the line between a safe walking route to school and a hazardous one? That's just one of the questions being raised in the Montville School District. Another is whether free courtesy busing for children in one part of town is fair to others.

Distrust in the results of tests performed by Public Service Electric and Gas Company, added to fear of the unknown and concerns about future expansion, led the Montville Board of Education (BOE) to approve the hiring of a consultant who will conduct independent tests on electro-magnetic fields (EMF) in and around Robert R. Lazar Middle School.
