WALLINGTON — The Wallington High School boys high school soccer team made history on Friday. The Panthers defeated Leonia, 4-0, in the Group 1, North 1 state sectional final on Friday for the school's first ever boys soccer state title.

WALLINGTON â€” With a blink of an eye, the Wallington High School football program went from one head coach to another. A couple of weeks ago the Panthers program was headed by Jim Albro and then three days later the man guiding the ship was Barry Blauvelt.

Wallington Jr./Sr. High School is a six-year comprehensive public high school that serves students in seventh through twelfth grade from Wallington, in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States, as part of the Wallington Public Schools.
As of the 2005-06 school year, the school had an enrollment of 604 students and 41.3 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student-teacher ratio of 14.6.
The school was the 200th-ranked public high school in New Jersey out of 316 schools statewide, in New Jersey Monthly magazine's September 2008 cover story on the state's Top Public High Schools. The school was ranked 206th in the magazine's September 2006 issue, which surveyed 316 schools across the state.
Athletics
The Wallington High School Panthers compete in the Bergen County Scholastic League (BCSL) National Conference, comprising private and public high schools located in Bergen County and Hudson County.
The soccer team won the BCSL Championship in 2004 and 2007.
