Like a child pinning ornaments on a Christmas tree, many local businesses are hanging their hopes on sales made during the upcoming holiday season. The Deer Park Business Association is conducting a "Santa Saturday," bringing Santa Claus to the city to help boost holiday sales.

Santa Claus will be in Deer Park on Saturday, Dec. 5. The Deer Park Business Association is hosting a "Santa Saturday" where children can take photos with Santa at Barresi's Restaurant on Webster Avenue and local businesses will have special decorations and treats to kick off the holiday season.
