The band placed eighth out of 16 bands from across the northeast in Group 5 of the competition at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. They scored 94.688; the Dartmouth High School band from Massachusetts placed first with a score of 97.813.

The Liverpool Dollars for Scholars program held its fourth annual Bowl-a-Thon Sunday afternoon at Flamingo Bowl. Pledges and donations from the Bowl-a-Thon all benefit the Dollars for Scholars scholarship fund.
