- Manhasset Secondary School is a four-year public high school and middle school located in Manhasset, at 200 Memorial Place, in Nassau County, New York on the North Shore of Long Island. Manhasset High School consistently ranks among the top 100 High Schools in America.
- As of the 2005-06 school year, the school had an enrollment of 785 students and 59.3 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student-teacher ratio of 13.3:1.
- At Manhasset, Jim Brown earned 13 letters playing football, baseball, basketball, lacrosse, while also running track. Manhasset lacrosse has won the state lacrosse title three times, in 1995, 2004 and 2009.

- Popular varsity sports at Manhasset High School are lacrosse, football,basketball, Ice Hockey, field hockey, baseball, cross country/track, wrestling, soccer, swimming, crew, fencing, badminton, golf, and tennis. The following are some of the sport teams and their accomplishments.
- Lacrosse
- Manhasset lacrosse is an enduring tradition.
- In 1932, Manhasset established the first HS lacrosse team on Long Island while Garden City followed shortly after in 1934. A yearly lacrosse tradition known as the "Woodstick Classic" emerged between the schools, an event which is attended by thousands every year, and is currently the nation's longest continuous boys lacrosse rivalry. Manhasset leads the all-time series, 64-50. In recent years, a side rivalry has developed with the Cold Spring Harbor Seahawks.
- Recently in the last 15 years, Manhasset has won the Class C State Championship three times, winning in 1995, 2004, and 2009.

In 2008, the Boys Junior 4-Boat came in 1st place in the Scholastic National Regatta in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. They also placed first at the Stotesbury Cup Regatta and at the New York State Championships.
- Cross-country and track
- The Manhasset High School girls cross country team won the Nassau County conference championship for the second consecutive year in 2005.
- The Manhasset Boys Outdoor Track & Field team has only five losses in at least 20 years, with an undefeated record until 2005
- The Manhasset Boys 2003 Cross-Country team won the Class B County Championships, competing in the State Meet in Syracuse, New York.
- The Manhasset Boys 2008 Cross-Country team won the Class B County Championships, competing in the State Meet in Sunken Meadow, New York. The team placed 4th in the Nassau County, and 8th in New York State Class B Division. The team was led by Joseph Nassarian, David Knowles and Patrick Love.
- Outdoor Track Coach Donald Scott ranks 6th all-time amongst all New York State coaches in Track dual meet victories, recording 384 over the span of his coaching career. [1]

- Manhasset Wrestling has won the Division II County Championship three years in a row, in 2005, 2006, and 2007. Entered Division 1 in 2008 and since their re-entrance into division 1, they have had two all county; Michael Fera (5th) and Nicholas Aloia (6th) and three conference champions Nicholas Fera 140lbs, Michael Fera 96lbs and Nicholas Aloia 189 lbs. Manhasset remains one of few schools in Nassau to never have a county champion but things are looking good for the school; they had an 8th grader, Michael Fera 96 Lbs become the first middle school student in the school's history to become all county.
- It's a promising future for the 09-10 season as both Fera brothers ranked in Nassau county return to the Team along with several other quality team wrestlers.

In 2007 Manhasset's Choirs (Concert Choir, Kinsmen, & Select Ensemble) became the first in New York State to receive three Golds with Distinction on the highest level of NYSSMA. In 2008 this process was improved with four Golds with Distinction when the Women's Chorus also received one on Level VI.
- This year eight choirs will involve over 300 students in singing:Symphonic Choir, Concert Choir I, Concert Choir II, Women's Chorus, Vocal Jazz Ensemble, Select Ensemble, Kinsmen, Varsity Kinsmen.[2]
- Kinsmen is the elite men's choir with 35 members. In June 2008 they were selected as the Best High School Choir in New York State. In recognition of their excellence Kinsmen will perform at the NYSSMA All-State Conference in Rochester in December.Kinsmen can be heard on youtube.[3][4]
