- Miller Place High School is a public high school in the Miller Place Union Free School District along the north shore of Long Island, New York, United States. It is the only high school in the district and contains grades 9-12. The school has been ranked the 78th in the United States for the amount of students taking AP classes.
- As of the 2005-06 school year, the school had an enrollment of 965 students and 60 classroom teachers (on a FTE basis, for a student-teacher ratio of 16.1.

Miller Place High School is located in the hamlet of Miller Place, Suffolk County, New York, United States. MPHS, unlike the three other district schools, is located south of Rt. 25A. Miller Place High School is the only building of the Miller Place Union Free School District not on the original property.

The school is known for being the home of the Miller Place High School Panthers badminton team, a group that remained undefeated from 1973 until the streak's end in April, 2005 at 504 straight games. The team was undefeated under coach Pat McCarrick's 25 year's leading the team, and had only a single loss in the ten years following her 1997 retirement. Currently the school's record is 534 wins and 9 losses, five losses to the Smithtown High School team and four to Half Hollow Hills. In the 2008 season Miller Place High School was undefeated until the boys badminton championship, where they lost to Half Hollow Hills. This ended the school's string of 35 consecutive county championships.
- Miller Place High School's Girl's Field Hockey team has made two consecutive trips to the state championships.
- The varsity football team had big opportunities ahead of them; playing cross-town rivals Mount Sinai and Shoreham-Wading River this past year. They defeated Mt. Sinai 28-21 at Mt. Sinai, the home field in which they haven't lost at in 3 years.
- The 2008-2009 Panthers football team had one of the best seasons in Miller Place history. Finishing the season with a 6-2 season it was the best recorded in 20 years, and beating teams like Huntington and breaking Islip's 16 game winning streak . The 2007 season was mostly juniors and they all returned in 2008 to make a name for themselves. Being blown out their first game (42-12) against Hills West their first game they had an opportunity to make up for it their first post season game. Coming back into the game after half time down two touchdowns (21-7) they came back 18 points in the 4th quarter to come up top 25-21. But in a heart breaking change of events they lost in the last 2 seconds with a final score of 27-25. The Panthers also lost their first playoff game in 2005 to Hills West by 2 points as well.
- The varsity baseketball team defeated Amityville twice in the 2007-2008 season.
- The boys soccer team has been a well known competitor with other teams on Long Island, have posted respectable records and has made the playoffs for four straight seasons.
- The Miller Place cross country team has also had recent success. They won their league in 2007 and came in second place in State Qualifiers, losing to Hauppauge 81-86.
- Collin Zeffer broke the 3000 Meter Steeplechase school record at the Saint Anthony's Invitational in May 2, 2009, although it was deemed to be wind-aided and will not count.
- Miller Place had the second wrestling county champion in 21 years and their first All-State wrestler ever.(Zach Bounaiuto)

The Miller Place High School contains a Science Research class, which annually participates in events such as the Science Bowl and Science Olympiad, as well as in the Intel Science Talent Search.
- Robotics

Miller Place's FIRST Robotics Team (Team 514) has recently gained notoriety. In less than a decade, the team has managed to win a number of awards, among them several in the SBPLI (School-Business Partnerships of Long Island) Long Island Regional event (including champion, finalist, sportsmanship, rookie, chairman's, and judge's honors, among others) The team also won a championship participation award at the Deer Park Invitational in 2005. The Robotics Team made two consecutive trips to the World Championship Event in Atlanta, Georgia.
- Because Miller Place High School does not have a wood or metal shop any longer (due to their conversion into chemistry labs), the team meets at the North Country Road Middle School to construct their robots.
