This school is phenomenal, I love the teachers and staff so much. The 5th grade teachers treated my child as if they were their own and I will always remember them for that

Bullying is the number one factor that needs to be adjusted in the school. I do not recommend the school to nobody because nothing is done to stop the bullying. Some parents are contacted but they don't seem to care and that affects the whole community because this children go around doing whatever they feel. My son has been bullied in the school for the longest. I agree that this is a jail cell more than a school the kids don't get along because of the lack of involvement in between them and the parents as well. I do not bother going to activities because if nothing is done to help my child then I don't see the point of it. I thank God that my son graduates this year I won't have to deal with this anymore.

I believe that the quality of academic programs is below average because focus is placed on the teachers finishing the topics in the curriculum rather than the students learning the work. Extracurricular activities are limited or not available-I'm very disappointed because the children have no outlet where they could burn that excess energy. The facility is very poorly taken care of. The furniture in the classroom need to be upgraded and the classrooms need to be refurbished so that they could become more child friendly. In addition, the level of parent involvement is also poor because the administration does not know how to ineract with the parents. Too much emphasis is placed on the children's negative beahvior, hence, lack of positive parent involvement. Parents will be called by the principal only when a child misbehaves. I also think that the administration has very poor work ethics and communication skills. I would not recommend this school to anyone! This school is teaching these children how to survive in jail instead of teaching them how to survive and succeed in the real world!
