  • Kenmore High School is a public high school in Akron, Ohio. It is 1 of 7 high schools in the Akron Public Schools district. Constructed in 1916, with an addition in 1917 (both razed in 1975). Additions in 1952 and 1955; an almost entirely new school built in 1980 . The schools mascot is the Cardinals.
  • Famous alumni include: Cliff Battles a football hall of famer played halfback from 1932-1937 and was the first running back to rush for 200 yards in a game.
  • Donald L. Plusquellic Longest serving mayor of akron, serves as vice president of the International Mayors for Peace organization.
