Wednesday the orchestra and music director Franz Welser-Most presented a short concert titled "Meet the Orchestra" at John Hay High School. In attendance were about 800 students from all three divisions of John Hay as well as the nearby Cleveland School of the Arts.

John Hay High School is a public high school located in Cleveland, Ohio. John Hay is part of the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, with grade levels including 9th through 12th. The neoclassical school was designed by Cleveland Schools architect George Hopkinson, and was built in 1929. Its athletic activity mascot is "Hornets". Its colors are Green & Gold.
