CADIZ â€” Tickets for Harrison Centralâ€™s playoff game at Dover High School Friday will be on sale Wednesday through Friday during normal school hours and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday. The cost is $7 during the week and $9 at the gate. All playoff ticket prices are set by the OHSAA.

WHARTON — Twins, who graduated from Dover High School, recently celebrated their 90th birthday with friends and relatives coming from three states to join them.

Dover High School is a public high school in Dover, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Dover City Schools district. The school's nickname is The Tornadoes. The school colors are crimson and gray.
Dover’s first school house was constructed in 1827 in a forested area on the south side of 4th Street (near the cemetery). There was a separate Negro School on West Front Street until 1917, at which time Dover’s school system became fully integrated.
Athletics
Dover High School has a longstanding football rivalry with nearby New Philadelphia High School, having played 104 times since 1896. Dover High School competes in the ECOL (East Central Ohio League) and has eighteen varsity teams. Dover will face arch rival New Philadelphia in the first round of football playoffs making the rivalry meeting 105 times they have faced tying the Ohio state Michigan rivalry. Currently Dover leads the series 49-47-9
