A South Range high school senior's baking skills will help feed her community this Thanksgiving. Karissa Benchwick donated 50 turkeys to the Mount Olivet food bank in North Lima. She paid for $400 worth by making cookies and using 75-percent of her profit to pay for them. It is becoming a re-occurring theme for the Boise Hawks — solid starting pitching gives way to bullpen that right now can best be described as shaky. For the third time in as many games, the Hawks bullpen surrendered a lead late to leave Boise winless as it goes on the road for the first time this season for a five-game series against the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes.
