Athletic Director Bruce Brown presented an athletic end of the year report to the board. Brown announced that Lake Local Schools won the Sportsmanship Award for the second year in a row. The Sportsmanship Award is an honor that is voted on by all of the student athletes in the Federal League.

A police car i snow participating in the Lake Township CROP Walk. The Hartville Police Department plans to park one of their police cruisers in front of the Huntington Bank on Route 619 in Hartville from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., Sunday, April 26. The car doors, windows and trunk will be open, inviting passersby to stop and “drop in” canned goods or nonperishable food items.
