Marine 1st Sgt. Scott D. Hamm, a 1992 graduate of Exeter High School, received the Bronze Star for his actions in Afghanistan in April and May 2008. Hamm, a son of Pat and Clarence Hamm, Exeter Township, is a native of Frackville and is stationed at Camp Lejeune, N.C.

The 39th Annual Belsnickel Craft Show, presenting approximately 140 local and regional juried artisans, will be held on Friday, Nov. 27, from 11 to 7 p.m., and on Saturday, Nov. 28, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
