Theresa Holland, a pre-K special needs student at Spring City Elementary School, pets a pony at C & H Farm on Thursday. Twice a year, the students visit to get a hands-on experience with farm life.

The children's song "Old McDonald Had a Farm" now bears more significance for pre-kindergarten students at Spring City Elementary School. Nearly 40 4-year-olds hopped on a school bus last Friday to go explore farm life at J&S Red Angus Farm on Old Dixie Highway in Evensville.
