19-year-old shot in thigh ELYRIA — Police are still investigating a shooting that occurred yesterday at 4:30 on 13th Street. Diontay Spraggins, 19, of Elyria, was shot in the thigh. He was driven by an acquaintance to EMH Regional Medical Center and later flown to Cleveland MetroHealth Medical Center.

Call it an occasion outta SITES! To celebrate world languages and cultures, Oberlin's first World Language and Culture Festival happens today from 5 to 7 p.m. at Prospect Elementary School in Oberlin (36 South Prospect St.) The festival is sponsored by Oberlin's Spanish in the Elementary Schools (SITES) program and the Parent-Teacher Organizations at Eastwood and Prospect schools.
