In his three months as principal at Hillsboro Elementary School, Terrence Beam has set several goals to improve and build on the education system at the school. During the joint board of education and LSIC (Local School Improvement Council) meeting at HES , Beam shared his goals with board members.
BOE reviews plans for HES Needs Project (The Pocahontas Times)

The board of education reviewed the specifics of the Needs Project for Hillsboro Elementary School at Monday’s meeting. The board has been working with Williamson Shriver Architects, Inc. to design the project plan for funding. Once the plan is completed, it will be sent to the School Building Authority for approval.

First- and second-grade soccer players hurried onto a field Monday behind Hillsboro Elementary School. They didn’t care that the field was wet from intermittent rain; they were excited when coach Stephanie Moss said practice would go on as planned.
