Bradford High School head football coach Steve Hoard, after compiling a 13-17 record in three seasons, was fired last week, which means the school will hire its eighth head coach since David Hurse retired in 1990.

Bradford Middle School's Amanda Hall ran a personal record of 22:25 to finish as the top female runner at the Nov. 14 Hog Jog, which was hosted by the Florida Striders in Lake Asbury.

Reggie Thomas rushed for 122 yards and three touchdowns as the Keystone Heights football team had an easy time of it on homecoming, scoring eight touchdowns in a 55-0 rout of visiting Interlachen on Nov. 13 to close out the season.

A Kenosha Fire Department official examines a Jeep Wrangler that crashed Monday about 1 p.m. on 69th Street east of Sheridan Road. A 16-year-old in the Jeep reportedly sustained a ruptured spleen. The vehicle had been stolen and was filled with joy-riding teens, police said.
