STUARTS DRAFT — John William East, 81, of Stuarts Draft died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, at Oak Lea Nursing Home at Virginia Mennonite Retirement Community in Harrisonburg. He was born Aug. 22, 1928, in Bluefield, W.Va., the only child of the late John Samuel and Cecilia Hitt East.
