School Reviews

I am currently attending FCHS. I would recomend this school on the basis that it is a great school at the core. Yes, we have no where near enough funding. Most things are out dated and the sports field and stands needs to be completly redone. But this is part of why so many love it. Its old but it works. We have an enormous amount of school spirit and drive to succed. Every school has problems but its the few that try to move past them that truely make a difference. This is one im proud to say does.. Small school, big personality.

I believe the percentage of student graduates speaks for itself! The food may stink, the heat may be old and not work on occasion and yes they could always use more money from the state to improve. However I think it speaks very highly of our teaching staff that our graduation percentage is 98%. Keep up the good work.

Fort Chiswell High School is a sorry excuse for a modern high school. As a former student, I can honestly say that we have LITTLE HEAT in the winter, poor cafeteria food, dangerously aged desks, unmotivated students, damaged lockers, faulty leadership skills of the principal, poor bleachers, gym equipment, concession stands and fields-among other things. The state should really take a look at what their funding is going to.
