Unusual pumpkins The deadline for Okanogan’s first unusual pumpkin contest is 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31. Pumpkins must be made of non-perishable materials such as papier mache, wire, old lampshades, buckets and so on. They must not exceed 20 inches in diameter.
