Unfortunately there are some teachers at our school that seem to be very angry and do not seem to like children all that much. I have a middle schooler who all of a sudden hates school and is failing.(out of character) I go to conferences and all the teachers tell me "this is the worst class ever" one teacher even had a sign stating what percentage had a "D" or below. My child comes home and tells me that their math teachers stares at them like he wants to kill them and then tells them that they are the worst class ever. The counselor has even said this to me!!!! Hello!!! I should not have to state that these teachers are suppose to be inspirational and positive role models. I know kids can be ruthless at times but they are still children. Children see adults acting in behavior that I would not like to be around for any given time, I hope my child has more class than that. I was uncomfortable for the 5-10 minutes I was at the teachers conference tables. My childs block teacher seems to be level headed and has a more positive outlook as well as the Social studies and reading teacher. I am frustrated with the administration as well!! I am truly sad about how the eighth grade class has been labeled and hope that things turn around in igh school!

there are wonderful teachers that help you whenever you don't understand something. you become so fond of the teachers. I remeber the homework. I did get some Ds and Fs on the test, but on the worksheets i got As. i didn't know what to do. then the teachers helped me study. i think i was just nervouse about taking the test. my favorite subject is science. i was also in volleyball for the first year and had a blast. enjoy middle school. it doesn't get any easier. High school is coming your way afterwards
