TOWANDA — Hundreds of family and community members attended Wednesday night’s annual open house at the Northern Tier Career Center, checking out the facilities, meeting the staff, and finding out what their children already know — vocational education offers a direct path to gainful employment, something more and more people are struggling to find in today’s job market.
